Evy Moran - Export Adviser
As an Export Adviser with the ICT industry team, Evy assists Australian technology companies with their internationalisation and assists with the project management of Austrade-run and supported events in Australia and overseas.
Evy joined the IT team in February 2003 after working as a cadet with Austrade. Previously she was employed as a Multimedia Developer with a Melbourne-based eLearning and multimedia company.
Education Master of Business Administration, Melbourne Business School (in progress) Bachelor of Business (Business Information Systems) with Distinction, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
Experience In her role as a Multimedia Developer, Evy was required to develop computer based training (for distribution over the web, intranet and CD-ROM) and develop websites.
In her degree, Evy excelled at applications development and systems analysis and design, in particular the use of Java and Enterprise Java Beans, Visual Basic and Oracle

Chris Knepler - Senior Export Adviser
Chris joined Austrade from industry in 2003 and lead Austrade's US Technology Team until July 2006 when he moved to a Senior Export Adviser position in Austrade Sydney. Chris has 15 years experience in building and operating US technology companies, and has worked with multinationals in Europe and South East Asia. Chris’s most recent experiences have been in start-up wireless software and Internet services companies in the US.
Chris assists Australian companies in their efforts to penetrate the complex and competitive US markets. Drawing on his direct experience and extensive networks he helps to develop solid market entry strategies and offers in-market advice and assistance across a wide spectrum of industries.
